Acourtia wrightii
PERENNIAL. Shrubby, taller and coarser than Acourtia nana.
Large, toothed, clasping leaves. Dense clusters of pink flowers.
Full sun in desert scrub and desert grassland, uncommon in the Empires.
Related to Trixis californica, which has yellow flowers and a different
habitat.
