Astrolepis integerrima
XEROPHYTIC FERN. Leaves narrow, pinnate, grayish green.
Leaflets variable in shape, with 3-7 irregular lobes. Dense covering
of white star-shaped scales on upper surface, and long overlapping fringed
tan and brown scales below. Scaliest of all Astrolepis, and
leaflets are more irregular than in the other species. Restricted
to limestone. In the Empires, uncommon on large limestone outcrops,
usually with other Astrolepis ferns.
