Chamaesaracha coronopus Velvet Five-Eyes
ANNUAL. A creeping plant with sessile, elongate, lobed leaves
that are velvety with tiny star-shaped hairs. White, pale blue, or
greenish flowers have five-sided corollas.
Blooms April-June. Very common on bare sunny ground, bajadas,
dirt roads, etc. C. sordida is similar but has yellow
flowers and stalked leaves (compare photo).
