PERENNIAL.  Bunchgrass, native to South Africa.  Flat, broad seedheads are unlike any other grass in the Southwest.  Leaves long, coarse, sparse.  In the Empires, occasional as isolated plants at the upper end of Davidson Canyon and its small rocky tributaries.
