Ipomopsis longiflora Angel Trumpet
ANNUAL or BIENNIAL. Leaves dissected into a few linear segments.
Flowers about 3 cm long and 2 cm in diameter, tubular, with 5-6 flaring,
slightly spiralling petals. Flowers very pale purple but may look
white from a distance. Blooms in April-May. Occasional in the
Empires in desertscrub. Scattered in unlikely looking places in coarse
gravel, bajadas, etc.
