ANNUAL. Leaves variable, with broad to very narrow lobes.
Flowers tiny, about .5 cm in diameter, white, pale pink, or light purple.
Calyces glandular hairy. Blooms in March-April, withers by mid-May.
Flowers much smaller than those of P. crenulata or P. arizonica.
In the Empires, common in sandy washes, roadsides, etc.
