Phacelia crenulata Blue Phacelia, Scorpionweed
ANNUAL or PERENNIAL. Leaves are dark green with several rounded
lobes. Flowers purple or bluish purple, about 1 cm in diameter, with
stamens longer than the corolla. Blooms in April, later than P.
affinis and earlier than P. arizonica, though there is some
overlap. In the Empires, the largest and most common Phacelia, common
in sunny, sandy or gravelly areas.
