Rivina humilis  Pigeonberry, Rouge Plant
PERENNIAL.  Stems grow to about 1 m tall, with bright green pointed egg-shaped leaves.  Flowers are tiny and dark red, and bloom in mid to late summer.  Berries are fleshy, brilliant red, and toxic.  In the Empires, rare in shady rock crevices in Davidson and other large canyons.
