Stephanomeria pauciflora  Wirelettuce
PERENNIAL.  Usually looks like a bundle of thin greenish gray stems up to .5 m tall.  Sprinkled with flowers in May and again in summer after rain.  Flowers white, tinged with pink or purple, followed by fluffy white to tan seedheads.  Common in desertscrub throughout the Empires.
