Yucca elata  Soaptree Yucca
SUCCULENT.  A treelike yucca with very narrow, flat, flexible, white-edged leaves.  Spikes of white flowers are followed by woody brown capsules that split into three paired chambers to reveal black triangular seeds.  Mature plants bloom almost every year.  The most common yucca in the Empires, found throughout.  Y. baccata and Y. schottii are shorter, with broader, stiffer leaves and fleshy fruits.
